I’ve ridden in many pickup trucks over the decades, but until recently, I’d never driven a full-size pickup. And, I had never driven a diesel vehicle.
Enter the 2020 GMC Sierra AT4.
As a full-size diesel pickup, I was surprised by a couple of factors. With all the latest safety features alerting you to the vehicle’s surroundings, driving a larger vehicle was a pleasant experience. The higher driving position didn’t hurt. And my fuel consumption was a major plus – much better than I anticipated.
Now my goal here is to view the Sierra AT4 as an artist and photographer. Painting and/or photographing black vehicles is always both a challenging and interesting assignment.
