East Coaster of the Day: 1948 Fargo

East Coaster of the Day: 1948 Fargo 🇨🇦

This jaunty 72-year-old Fargo truck is original, with only 40,000 miles on the odometer. It’s the Fargo that didn’t go far.

The blue half-ton provides sentinel and advertising duties, outside the shop of the Urquhart-MacDonald & Associates in Waverley.

Jake Urquhart says they’ve owned the split-windshield shop truck for about 15 years. It’s geared low, has a three-speed floor shift and a carburetor the size of a teacup.

Jake also told us the Fargo truck runs very well and, as far as he knows, it was a shop truck in its previous life, before becoming the shop star it is today.
