East Coaster of the Day

This fine example of a Triumph TR6 was spotted in Halifax. The iconic British sports car was built between 1968 and 1976. Of the 91,850 built, 83,480 were exported from the UK, mostly to North America.

Powered by a 2.5-litre dual-carburetted straight six-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower, the TR6 has always been one of our favourite attainable sports cars. Having ones like this beauty cruising the roads of Atlantic Canada during the summer months is a feast for the eyes and ears.

If anyone recognizes this vehicle, let us know, so we can say thanks for the eye candy!

    1. I’m not sure, Terry. We didn’t get to speak with the owner and are hoping someone sees it here and identifies it. Will let you know if we do! Thanks for checking out our site. Stay tuned for a new East Coaster of the Day tomorrow!
